Your own settings at a glance

Every page under your own name menu, in screenshots, with what each one changes for you and only you.

  1. Photo

Upload photo picks a PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 2 MB and it appears everywhere right away, no separate save step. Remove clears it back to your initials.

  2. Account info

Your sign-in email, read-only because it comes from SSO, and your Role badge. Both are shown for reference only; neither is editable here.

  3. Profile Information fields

Display Name, Job Title, Department, Business Phone, Mobile Phone, and Office Location, saved with the Save button at the top of the card.

  4. Two-factor authentication

Set up two-factor turns on an authenticator-app second factor for your own sign-in. It reads not set up on this account; nothing here is enabled yet.

  5. Time Off

From, To, and Note mark whole days you are out. Saving one pulls you out of dispatch scheduling for those days and lets Elise explain the gap; block your calendar instead for anything shorter than a full day.

Your name menu: theme, density, and language

  1. Theme

Classic, Dark, or Custom, with its own color Edit screen. Picking one applies across the whole portal for you immediately.

  2. Density

Comfortable, Normal, or Compact row spacing.

  3. Language

Use browser language, or pick one directly. The same setting as the Language row on the Display page below.

  4. My Settings / Sign out

My Settings jumps straight to the Profile tab. Sign out ends your session.

Display: photo, language, timezone, and ticket behavior

  1. Display Preferences

Autocorrect for text areas, Timezone (defaulting to the company clock here), Language for the portal's own buttons and menus, and an AI Assistant Avatar upload, currently the default icon.

  2. Service Desk

Opening a claimed ticket, on here so Claim jumps straight into the ticket, and the four Needs Attention buckets (Escalated, Failed to dispatch, Awaiting first response, Unclaimed pool), all on by default.

Notifications: events, channels, and the system feed

  1. Sounds & Email Digest

Notification chime, New-ticket sound, and Other notification sounds toggles, plus Email delivery timing, set to Immediate here.

  2. Event preferences

One three-state Default / On / Off control per event, with a Default for your role hint on each row. Only an In-App column shows on this instance; Email and Desktop toast columns are hidden because neither channel is set up for this account yet.

  3. System notifications (always on)

17 platform sends listed here, magic-link emails, closed-ticket auto-replies, automation-sent messages, that never go through your preferences.

Email Signature: build your own signature

  1. Build

Layout (Classic here), Style (color, font, divider, photo shape, logo size), and Fields, or switch to Custom HTML to paste one in directly.

  2. Live Preview

Renders your signature as you build it, right down to your own uploaded photo and Display Name.

Search: your own header search dropdown

  1. Results Per Category

2, 3, 5, or 10 results per category in the header search dropdown.

  2. Visible Categories

Every entity type search can return, each with its own checkbox. All on by default.

  3. Category Order

Drag to reorder how categories stack in the header dropdown.

Navigation: how edits open for you

  1. Navigation Preferences

L4 navigation, Inline or New Tab, controls whether a sub-tab's edit actions open in place or in a fresh browser tab.

  2. Tab & Section Customization

Reset to defaults clears every hide and reorder you have saved for your own sidebar, for you only. It asks you to confirm, then reloads the page. The same layout can also be cleared from the sidebar's own Customize control.

Briefing: what Elise puts in your daily brief

  1. Your subscribed domains

Empty on this account. Sections you subscribe to below appear here, reorderable, and each can be disabled or removed.

  2. Catalog

Every Command Center domain you have permission to see. Add attaches it as-is; Configure & add asks for a parameter first, such as a client or a pod.

Why it works this way

Upload your own photo and it wins for good: a Microsoft 365 directory photo is only ever used as a fallback before you upload one, and sync will not overwrite or clear an uploaded photo afterward.

Anyone signed in who can already see your name also sees your photo, including a customer reading your ticket reply; it is not a public link, and an admin can also set or clear it from your staff record on the Team side.

Theme and Language are the same setting whether you touch them from the name menu or from the Display page; Density only lives in the name menu.

Search, Navigation, and Briefing preferences here are private to you: nothing you set on these three pages changes what a teammate sees.

Sidebar

Open My Settings under Configuration in the left sidebar.

You are already in the sidebar and would rather not reach for the name menu.

Questions this page answers

How do I set my profile photo?

Use Upload photo on the Profile page and pick a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2 MB. It is stored square at 256 pixels, so a portrait crop and a landscape crop end up the same size, and it appears everywhere immediately: your replies on a ticket, the team list, the profile menu at the top right. Remove takes it away and puts your initials back. There is no approval step and no separate save button; the photo is the preview.

What is the Profile page for?

This page is where you edit your own info. Update your name, contact details, job title, department, phone numbers, and office location here.

What does "Opening a claimed ticket" control?

What happens after you press Claim. On (the default), claiming takes you straight into the ticket to start working. Off, you stay on the list - the row refreshes to show it's yours - so you can sweep up several tickets in a row. The Claim button on the tickets page's Needs Attention card always opens the ticket.

What are the Needs Attention buckets?

Four reasons a ticket can land in your Needs Attention feed: Escalated (open tickets flagged escalated), Failed to dispatch (Elise tried to place it but found no pod, no candidate, or no slot), Awaiting first response (assigned but no customer-facing reply yet), and Unclaimed pool (unassigned new tickets in your pods). All four are on by default; quieting one only affects your own view, everywhere the feed appears. A ticket that qualifies for several reasons shows under the strongest one you still have enabled.

Can I change my timezone?

Yes - the Timezone picker here offers every IANA zone. Your personal timezone changes how date-grouped views bucket days for you - dashboards, reports, your time-for-today math, and when your notification digest lands. Ticket timestamps stay on the instance Default Timezone so the whole team reads the same clock. Leave it unset to follow the company default.

How do the three-state toggles work?

Each event/channel cell has three states: Default (no override - follows your role's catalog default), Force on (this user receives regardless of role default), and Force off (this user is silenced even when the default is on). The "Default for your role" hint on each row shows what would fire if you leave the toggle on "Default".

What's the difference between Email and In-app channels?

Email arrives in your inbox. In-app shows in the header bell + the notifications list inside the portal. An event can support one, the other, or both - only channels the catalog allows for an event surface as toggle columns on its row. Channels whose adapter isn't configured for this instance are hidden entirely.

Why do I not see a Desktop toast column?

Because no device is assigned to you yet, so a toast would have nowhere to land. Ask whoever manages the team to open your staff record under Team > Staff, use Devices on your row, and add your computer. The column appears the next time you load this page.

Why are some notifications in a separate "System notifications" section?

Those messages are part of the platform's transactional flows - token-bearing magic links (quotes, agreements, meeting confirmations), customer auto-replies on closed tickets, and operator-configured automation sends. They aren't gated by user preferences because disabling them would break the user-facing flow. Listed so you can see what fires.

How do notification preferences work?

Go to My Settings > Notifications. Notifications are a grid of events (new tickets, replies, closures, reassignments, and more) with a column for each channel, Email and In-app. Every cell is a three-state toggle: Default, Force on, or Force off. A separate Sounds and digest card controls the browser chime and how often email is batched, and a locked System notifications section lists the messages the platform always sends.

What is the Email Signature page for?

This page builds your own signature. It gets attached to your outbound ticket replies. It is separate from the company-wide footer set under Settings → Email → Signature & Footer.

How do I set up my email signature?

Go to My Settings → Email Signature. Paste HTML from your existing Outlook or Gmail signature, or use the visual builder to make one from scratch. Then save it. It gets used automatically when you send ticket replies by email. Any email template using the {{signature}} variable adds it too.

How do I set up my email signature?

Go to My Settings > Email Signature. You can paste HTML from your existing Outlook signature or use the visual builder. The signature is used when sending ticket replies via email. Use the {{signature}} template variable in email templates to insert it.

What is the Search page for?

This page customizes your own header search dropdown. It sets which entity types show, how many results appear per category, and the order they appear in.

How do I reorder or hide a result category?

Go to My Settings → Search. Under Category Order, drag a category to reorder it in the header search dropdown. Under Visible Categories, uncheck any category to leave it out of your results. All are on by default. Set Results Per Category for how many results each one shows. Use Reset to Defaults to undo all of it.

What is the Navigation page for?

This page sets one personal choice. It picks how edit actions open across the portal: inline in your current view, or in a new browser tab.

How do I make edits open in a new tab instead of inline?

Go to My Settings → Navigation. Under Navigation Preferences, set L4 navigation to New Tab. Edits inside a tab then open in a new browser tab instead of your current view. This changes only for you, and takes effect right away. Click Reset to defaults, under Tab & Section Customization, to put it back to Inline.

What is the Briefing page for?

This page picks which Command Center sections feed your personal daily briefing on the dashboard. You can configure and reorder them here.

How do I add a section to my briefing?

Go to My Settings → Briefing. Under Catalog, click a domain you have permission to see. Only domains you can access show up here. Fill in any settings it asks for, like a ticket-age cutoff. Click Subscribe, or Configure & add. It then appears under Your subscribed domains, where you can reorder it, turn Enabled on or off, or click Remove.
