Projects, training, licenses, meetings and devices in the client portal

What a client contact sees on the Projects, Security Training, Licenses, Meetings and Devices pages in their portal.

  1. Tickets and Projects tabs

Projects is the same ticket list you see under Tickets, narrowed down to project work only. A project is one job made of several tickets that belong together.

  2. Status, Priority and search

Status and Priority filter the list the same way they do on Tickets, and the search box looks up a project by name.

  3. Projects list

Each row shows the project's number, name, priority, status, who it is assigned to, when it was created, and how many replies it has. Click a row to open it.

Security Training: your assigned trainings

  1. My Trainings

My Trainings lists each training assigned to you, with its year, due date, status, and when you completed it. This contact has none assigned right now, so the list reads No trainings have been assigned to you yet.

Licenses: your software seats and subscriptions

  1. Licenses

Licenses lists the software licenses your organization holds. This organization has none on record today, so the page reads No Licenses Found.

Meetings: agendas and recaps

  1. Past Meetings

Past Meetings lists meetings your IT provider has held with you, each with its date, how many agenda sections and action items it has, and who approved it. This one is marked Approved, approved by Northwind Demo on Aug 17, 2026.

Devices: what we monitor for you

  1. Devices summary

Total Devices, Online, Offline, and Consider Replacement count every device by its current state. All four read 0 today because this organization has none monitored yet.

  2. All Devices

All Devices lists each device's name, operating system, processor, whether it is online or offline, and when it was last seen. It reads No devices yet until any are added.

Why it works this way

Opening a project that actually has sub-tickets adds two things to its ticket page: a Progress card counting how many parts are done, and a read-only list of the sub-tickets themselves, each one clickable. Harbor Freight Logistics' one project today has no sub-tickets yet, so neither shows here.

A training you have not finished sends a reminder email about once a week by default, every two days once its due date is within a week or has passed, and every two weeks when it has no due date, so the emails taper off once a training is completed.

In the per-user license list, a license within 30 days of its renewal date gets a yellow badge showing the days left. This organization has no licenses on record today, so no badge shows.

Questions this page answers

What is on the Projects page?

It lists the larger pieces of work we run for you. A project is one job made of several tickets that belong together. This is the same list you see under Tickets, held to project work only.

How do I find one?

Use the search box to look one up by name. The Status and Priority filters work the same way they do on Tickets. Click a row to open the project.

What do I see when I open a project?

You get the same ticket page, plus two things. A Progress card counts how many parts are done. A Sub-tickets list shows each part with its status. Click one of them to read it. The list is there to read only, so you cannot change it.

What is this page?

It lists the security trainings given to you. Each row shows a due date and where it stands. A training is a short read with a check at the end. Nothing is graded and there is no pass mark. When you confirm one, we record that you read it. Your company keeps that record as proof, so we keep it for good.

Why do these emails keep coming?

A training you have not finished sends you a nudge. It comes about once a week. It comes more often as the due date nears or passes. Finish the training and the emails stop.

What does this page show?

It lists the software licenses your company holds. The cards at the top give a total for each kind. The main table shows each person and what they have. A separate part shows tenant totals. That is how many you own, and how many are in use.

How do I know if a license is expiring?

In the per-user license list, a license that renews in the next 30 days gets a yellow badge with the days left. Ask your IT provider to renew it before that date so your service does not stop.

How do meeting agendas work?

When your IT provider writes up a meeting agenda, you get an email with a link to read it. You can approve the agenda or send back the changes you want.

What devices are shown here?

This page lists the computers your IT provider looks after. Each row shows five things. The device name. The operating system. The processor. Whether it is online or offline. And when it was last seen.
